Tracking True North

One man's journey to save our First Responders

For almost 30 years Michael Ferrara has served in Emergency Services as a paramedic, firefighter, cop, ski patroller, climbing ranger, search and rescue technician and coroner.

During that time he's responded to hundreds of calls and worked the scenes of some of Colorado's most tragic emergencies.

"Tracking True North," is a documentary film about Ferrara's struggles with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and his decision to attempt to become the first person to cross-country ski more than 800 miles across Alaska with his search-and-rescue dog, Lhotse, to raise awareness about the need for support and resources for First Responders diagnosed with PTSD.
